Lauren Rose Author

Hello there, Dreamer!
Hi, I’m Lauren Rose! I’ve been dreaming up stories since I could hold a pencil, starting with my first “novel” at the ambitious age of eight—The Attack of the Evil Pencils. (Top-notch reading, right?)
And with that, what started as scribbled ideas has grown into my debut novel, Echoes Through Time. A story sparked by one particularly wild dream and brought to life through my love of romance, adventure, and a dash of magic. One morning, I woke up from the weirdest dream—the kind that feels so vivid, you’re convinced it’s your reality. I was completely in it, surrounded by people and places I’d never seen before, yet somehow, I felt like I belonged there. When I opened my eyes, the scenes and emotions lingered like echoes, and I knew, somehow, this was the story I’d been waiting to tell. It took years to reach the moment where I could truly sit down and bring it to life. But once I started, I fell completely in love with Amara, her journey, and the intricate world she navigates. Echoes Through Time quickly became my personal escape—a place to lose myself whenever life felt a little too overwhelming or chaotic. Writing this story was like finding a hidden portal to a world that both enchanted and grounded me, and it kept pulling me back, page after page.

I’m also a passionate mental health advocate and am open about my experiences with high-functioning anxiety, mood disorders, and chronic pain thanks to degenerative disc disease, spondylitis, and a spine that seems to collect bone spurs for fun. These challenges have deepened my empathy and shaped my resilience, inspiring me to support others facing similar struggles. Writing has become my safe haven—a way to turn darkness into light and connect with readers who might find comfort in my words.

When I’m not wandering off to some fictional world, I’m working as a Communications Manager, happily married to my “penguin lobster,” Jim, and mom to two wonderful kids and three rescue pups who make sure our Florida home is always full of joyful chaos. I dream of one day writing from a cozy villa overlooking the hills of Tuscany (but for now, coffee on the back porch will do). At heart, I’m a hopeless romantic and a spirited dreamer, and I believe everyone has a story—just waiting to be told.

It is my hope my writing bring my readers even a spark of the magic it’s given me. An adventure that invites you in, offers you a place to linger, and maybe even reminds you of your own untold story waiting to come to life.
